So if the couple splits up or a partner dies the other person may actually have no claim on the property of the other.
In the case of Living Together people actually face the problem when they split up. As these couples are not married to each other at the time opf splitting they can not claim any kind of alimony or if a partner dies the other partner cannot even claim the property without any mention of his or her name in any will and if the seized person do not have any such will then the other partner actually is left on his or her own. In some cases inf the Living Together couple purchases a property together but under the name of one of the partner when they split up the other partner can not even claim his or her share in the property.
